Strategic planning

Facilitating processes to provide employees and other stakeholders with common goals

We help identify the key issues your plan needs to address and set priorities to focus energy and resources. We design a robust process to develop and socialise your plan, and can monitor implementation progress.

Our team can:

  • help you assess what your needs are
  • conduct research (e.g., interviews) to collect information needed
  • build strategy through workshop design, facilitation and information synthesis
  • carry out implementation monitoring, mentoring and support

Projects we've worked on

Improving NIWA’s freshwater and estuaries science programmes.

National Institute of Water and Atmosphere (NIWA)

With a number of their freshwater and estuaries projects finishing, NIWA wanted to confirm the focus of future projects by engaging stakeholders and collaborators.

Groundwork planned and facilitated a two day workshop, with a skilled team working intensively to deliver the workshop and report on findings.

Annie has the ability to read what’s going on and adapt as to what we should be doing during the workshop and meetings.

Growing team capacity and effectiveness

The Feed and Farm Systems team needed to better define their team in order to grow and enhance collaboration with other business units.

Groundwork facilitated a workshop to clarify the team’s vision and aspirational goals. We then provided facilitation coaching and support for the team leader to complete the team’s strategic analysis.
